The SJPII Academy Varsity Volleyball Team had a great showing in this year's Highlands Christian Volleyball Tournament on September 11th and 12th.
SJPII faced Highlands Christian Academy on Friday evening and defeated them 25-21, 25-8. Highlights included Isabella Raciunas with 15 kills. Kara Silk with 5 kills and Shea Salvato with 4 kills and 5 digs.
In the second match on Friday, SJPII defeated Trinity Christian 25-14, 25-13. Highlights included Alexis Tirado with 4 aces, 10 digs and 10 assists, Isabella Nelson with 4 aces and 6 assists and Isabella Raciunas with 8 kills.
SJPII defeated Westminster Academy 27-25, 25-19, to win the championship on Saturday. Highlights included Isabella Raciunas having 6 kills and Shea Salvato with 2 kills and 5 digs. Defensively junior libero Sofia Blair had a stron perfomance in all three matches.
